Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Painting structural steel

• Maintain equipment well to keep maintenance time down

• Dispose of excess materials in their proper areas

• Ability to be trained on a forklift

• Assist welders in the day to day activities

• Cuts, bends, and shapes metal pieces using power and machine tools

• Loads and unloads inventory and supply as required

• Cleans and maintains shop, equipment, and work areas

• Uses various welding processes including shearing plates, punching, and drilling holes, MIG, and OXY-Acetylene

• Other duties and special projects as assigned
